GMAT
HERE'S YOUR
CHANCE TO EXPERIENCE SITTING FOR THE GMAT EXAM RISK FREE...
It is no
secret that the top performers are those who practice. And this is
more true than ever when it comes to the day you sit your GMAT exam.
It is absolutely critical you prepare using practice materials that
give you the most accurate test experience. CATPrep's
GMAT Simulator has been designed specifically for this purpose and
is currently used by students and GMAT course instructors worldwide
as the most accurate score indicator available. |
Even before
the moment you sit down to start the GMAT, you will have invested
significant preparation time and
outlaid moderate registration fees, but will
you make the same mistake most GMAT test takers make to this day? Believe
it or not, most GMAT test takers have never tried a GMAT exam before they go
in!
If you too sit
the GMAT exam without prior practice, you
will never find out about the aspects that make the GMAT different from
other exams. Numerical and verbal ability is important, but your final
GMAT score is also heavily dependant on your intimate familiarity with the
GMAT format itself. That is to say, you can be the best mathematician or
have the best command of English in the world, but you will only
capitalise on that if you know the GMAT inside out!
Thousands of
GMAT test takers every year are put on the back foot when they see
the GMAT for the first time. They are not portrayed in their best light,
simply because they are either given a false impression of the exam or are
surprised by something they were not expecting.
Practice
makes perfect. And
this is the over-riding philosophy behind the completely
accurate GMAT simulator.
You will only become trained-in to the GMAT way of thinking by sitting
accurate practice GMAT tests. CATPrep's
simulator is the most accurate simulation of the GMAT exam
available. And accuracy is critical for successful GMAT preparation.
Remember:
The GMAT
is an endurance test
When you practice using the accurate GMAT Simulator, you will see for
yourself that one of the most challenging demands of the GMAT is staying
focused for the marathon-like three and a half hours. The moment your
concentration waivers, you are loosing ground against the other
candidates. Training your brain to remain focused between changes of
question will give you the capacity to achieve a winning GMAT
sore.
Learn
How to Become
a Superior Time Manager
Time is the most valuable resource during the GMAT
and if you can't decide instantly how to allocate it when the timer is
ticking down, you will miss out on your top GMAT score. Learn how to navigate
the GMAT interface so that it becomes second nature by the time you sit
the real thing.
Play the GMAT Scoring
Algorithms to Your Advantage
The first questions in a section have more weight assigned to them and
an unanswered question reduces your score more than an incorrect answer.
CATPrep's GMAT Simulator replicates this scoring engine which means you get
the most accurate GMAT preparation available.
The GMAT
Exam Knows What You're Thinking
The GMAT adaptive question selection algorithm selects the next question
from a pool of varying difficulty, based on your personal performance.
Does the CATPrep GMAT simulation software replicate this feature? Of
course it does; it is the most accurate simulation of the GMAT around.
One aspect that overwhelms a
lot of candidates is that the GMAT continues to present you with questions
of increasing difficulty until your performance levels out. This can be
daunting, especially if you're aiming for a GMAT score of above 750. You need
to train under identical test conditions in order to learn how to deal
with this.

Most
other practice material you'll find was written for the old paper-based
GMAT. Don’t waste any of your time or money preparing using the old
GMAT question types!
The old style GMAT questions can be identified by their long reading comprehension passages with more than four corresponding questions. Ensure your GMAT preparation is accurate and genuine by checking for the following:
 |
Reading comprehension passages should not exceed 350 words. |
 |
Only 3 or 4 questions should correspond to each comprehension passage. |
 |
Visual data interpretation, graph, and diagram questions are included. |
 |
Presents the new format bold typeface critical reasoning questions. |
 |
Questions are automatically selected on your performance. |
Some cheap GMAT preparation courses present every candidate with exactly the same questions, which is not a truly accurate representation of the real GMAT. Some other products on the market don’t include the Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA) section. Don’t buy these as you won’t get to miss out the AWA on your real GMAT. In fact, you should spend the first hour concentrating on the AWA.
CATPrep’s GMAT Simulator has proven to be an incredibly accurate tool for predicting your GMAT score. The simulator uses a proprietary scoring engine that models the GMAT scoring algorithm, so the score you receive on the GMAT simulator will be very similar to your actual GMAT score.
To get the most from the GMAT Simulator we recommend that you:
 |
Select a date 3-4 days prior to your scheduled GMAT test date and complete one of the
simulated GMAT exams at the same time of day as your scheduled test. |
 |
Exercise the same habits and routine that you will use the day of your real
GMAT exam
and consider your simulated session as seriously as you will the real GMAT testing
session. |
If your simulated GMAT score is lower than you were aiming for, seriously consider postponing your real GMAT test to allow time for further preparation. Sitting the GMAT before you are fully ready is
unwise since scores stay on your record for five years, and you don’t want to waste unnecessary testing fees.
Extra Features:
Review Feature
Unlike the abrupt end you'll experience on test day, the GMAT Simulator gives you the chance to review your work and look for areas of improvement. In the only aspect of our Simulator NOT designed to accurately reflect the real
GMAT exam, after your exam is complete you are presented with your GMAT score and a chance to review the questions on your exam along with your answers, the correct answers, total time spent on each question, and question explanations. Since each completed
GMAT exam session is automatically saved for later review, you may reload and examine all of this data.
Universal Compatibility Feature
The GMAT Simulator runs as an applet inside your web browser which means you can run the simulator on any computer with any operating system. The entire question pool is downloaded by the
GMAT Simulator software before your exam session begins so you'll never wait for a question to load while time is expiring and you won’t need to remain connected to the internet during your test session.
Nonstandard Features
The GMAT Simulator supports the nonstandard options available to test takers with disabilities. The Graduate Management Admission Council makes several accommodations available to test takers with documented disabilities. The GMAT Simulator
can simulate the actual nonstandard options and allow you to practice under these
conditions.
If you plan
to invest the time and effort involved in sitting for the GMAT, you owe it
to yourself to take advantage of the features of our exclusive and
complete GMAT Simulator!
